Tuesday ' July 17, Stage 10, Tallard / Marseille 229.5 km
After transfer of 40 km we stayed at Embrum, a town famous for sprtivi because there has been held for years, one of the Ironman (Triathlon) more challenging and difficult in the world. And the next morning, again moving up to the stage where it starts from Tallard. We leave with satisfaction and tiredness in the Alps and head to Marseille for what it is' the second longest stage of the Tour 2007. The vegetation begins to change and the climate is hot and humid, almost hot. Unfortunately what was supposed to be a day long fast though, because of the Mistral (the strong wind that blows inland from the sea) and 35 degree heat will make us get arostiti means, and fatigue and sunlight. 4 asperities' main climb of the 4th Category 2 and Category 2 of 3 °. The sound of cicadas and 'unmistakable and briefly summarizes the atmosphere we breathe. Finally we come to the chaotic, multi-ethnic Marseille. The sea view from the top of the Col de La Gieste sounds like sweet music after 7h and 20 'bike ride to the average of 30.8 kph. The dangerousness' of the underworld of Marseilles (council of the French who live there), prevents us from stretch our legs through the streets of the old port.
